The aim of the COASTAL Project is to promote employment and training opportunities for individuals experiencing serious illness, disability and/or social disadvantage. Here you will be able to find out if the Project is right for you, contact us to ask any questions about the project and to learn about what opportunities, services and support may be available for you in your area.
If you are aged 16 +, currently out of work, living within one of the COASTAL project regions, experiencing a serious illness disability and/or social disadvantage, then the COASTAL Project may be able to help you. If you are an employer, interested in learning more about employing individuals with a disability, or seeking advice on equality and diversity issues, the Advice to Employers page will explain what the Project could provide for you.

Lynda joined COAST in April 2010. She was referred by Genesis with Mental Health issues and also learning difficulties. On her referral form, Lynda expressed an interest in attending Frame and also Jewellery making.
At the initial assessment it was quickly identified that Lynda would benefit from a self-esteem course as well as an IT course, these were both quickly arranged.
