The COAST Team in Neath Port Talbot supports people who are out of work and have an illness or disability (mental health problems, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and sensory impairment), substance misuse problems, and young care leavers.
The individuals we support can find it very difficult to access training, education and employment. The support we provide helps them to understand what it is that they want to do, and what support they will need to achieve their ambitions. We can provide direct support and funding for training and education, we also source work opportunities and employment. We can continue to support individuals even after they have gained employment, if this is what they need to succeed.
